Our vision is to transform Pakistan Railways Police into a service - oriented organization whose members are fully trained and sensitised to ensure safe and reliable movements of passengers and freight on railways all over the country.

Our Mission

Our mission is to render excellent service to the people of Pakistan, particularly those who are at a disadvantage due to their age, gender or socio-economic circumstances. We will earn millions of smiles daily by helping all railway passengers safely reach their destinations. We will protect trains, railway stations and all other railway assets against crime, sabotage and terrorism. We will focus our effort on safeguarding initiatives for development of Pakistan Railways, particularly projects related to China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.

Mandate/Objectives

To safeguard the life and property of railway passengers.

General maintenance of law and order on the entire railways within jurisdiction.

To protect the installations, prevent pilferage/theft of railways property.

To combat the trafficking and smuggling of arms, drugs and other illegal items through the trains.

To render every possible assistance and guidance to the passengers and railway servants.
