Police (PR-Police) has temporarily sus-pended the recruitment process for 250 constables following directives issued by the National Assembly's Railways Standing Committee on Jan 24.

According to a PR police spokesman, the written examination and interviews, origi-nally scheduled for Feb 2 and 4, have been postponed. New dates, venues, and times for the tests and interviews will be commu-nicated to candidates at a later stage.

In line with the standing committee's instructions, the recruitment process for an additional 230 constables and other

posts will also be re-advertised in national and provincial newspapers. However, candidates who have already cleared the physical test under the previous adver-tisement will not need to reapply. They will only be required to appear for the written test and interviews, for which new roll number slips will be issued.
