Rao Sardar Ali Khan PSP , Inspector General of Pakistan Railways Police

Rao Sardar Ali Khan was commissioned in the Police Service of Pakistan in 1990 and belongs to 18th common batch of the civil service.

He served in the intelligence bureau for five years and also served on a UN mission in an official capacity for eight months as well as in Australia for two years.

In April 2020, he was given charge of heading the Punjab Safe Cities Authority as the Managing Director. In 2021, he was selected as 53rd Inspector General of Punjab Police. He was promoted to grade 22nd  in May, 2022.

He took the command of Pakistan Railways Police as 27th Inspector General in July, 2022.
